Arrow Out (the “App”) is an Android directional-arrow puzzle game published by Inque Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy describes the information the App stores locally and the information that third-party services may collect or process when you use the App. This page also describes how you can exercise your privacy choices. No account is required to play.
1. Overview
Arrow Out includes offline puzzle gameplay and optional online advertising services. Your game progress is primarily stored on your device. We do not require a name, account, email address, phone number, or payment details to play the core game.
When the App connects to third-party advertising or privacy services, those providers may process certain device, network and advertising information. This is distinct from your local game-save data.
2. Information collected and stored
Game data stored on your device
The App uses MMKV-based application storage in the device sandbox. Depending on your gameplay, stored information may include:
- Campaign progress, unlocked levels and tier progression across the 1,000-level campaign;
- Stars earned on levels, collected milestone rewards and available hints;
- Lives remaining, life-refill times and relevant gameplay state;
- Daily quest completion dates and streaks;
- Settings such as sounds, personalization preference and other gameplay options;
- Locally saved advertising frequency information, when ads are enabled.
This local progress is not uploaded to an Inque Labs player-account database by the App. The Android application currently disables application backup through its manifest settings, although device-specific behavior may vary.
Information handled by advertising services
Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners may process IP addresses (which may reveal approximate location), Android advertising IDs or other permitted device identifiers, app and ad interactions, ad impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completion, device information (such as model, operating-system version and language), network information, and technical diagnostics. The specific information processed can depend on your region, settings, consent choices and advertising-provider configuration.
The App does not request precise GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo-library access for its puzzle gameplay.
3. How information is used
- To remember game progress, lives, stars, daily streaks, hints and your preferences on your device;
- To serve banner ads and voluntary rewarded ads, and where enabled, interstitial ads at appropriate gameplay breaks;
- To provide earned in-game rewards after a rewarded-ad completion;
- To request or manage applicable advertising privacy choices using Google User Messaging Platform (UMP);
- To help the advertising provider operate and secure its service, measure delivery and detect abuse or technical failures.
4. Third-party services and data sharing
Arrow Out includes the Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent-management functions. Google and participating advertising partners may receive data from these SDKs and may operate under their own retention, sharing and security terms.
We do not sell your personal information for direct monetary payment. Certain disclosures to advertising providers may be treated as “sharing” for targeted advertising under applicable privacy law.
Privacy website: When this website or its in-app WebView is loaded, web hosting providers necessarily receive ordinary connection data such as your IP address and request details. If Inque Labs enables website analytics, visits may also involve analytics cookies and page-interaction information under the applicable provider’s policies.
5. Advertising consent and privacy choices
The App integrates Google UMP. Where required and configured, an applicable consent or privacy options form may be displayed. Form availability depends on location, legal requirements and the messages configured in the publisher’s AdMob account; not all players will see a form.
To access the available advertising privacy options in the game, visit Arrow Out → Settings → Privacy & Consent → Ad Consent Choices. The App also provides a personalized-ads preference switch. This switch is not a replacement for an applicable Google consent form and does not disable all advertising or all essential ad-service data processing.
You can also manage or delete your Android advertising ID in device privacy settings, and access Google’s advertising controls through My Ad Center. Depending on your region, you may have rights to withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
6. Android permissions
The App declares these Android permissions:
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Access advertisements, consent forms and the web-based Privacy Policy. |
VIBRATE | Provide optional tactile game feedback. |
AD_ID | Allow eligible advertising services to access the Android advertising identifier under platform and user settings. |
7. Children’s privacy
Arrow Out is a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not ask players to create an account or provide their names or contact details to play. Advertising services may have additional age-related restrictions, particularly in regions with child-privacy laws.
If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child’s information, contact us using the details below. Any additional Google Play Families requirements depend on the app’s declared audience and its advertising configuration.
8. Privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal data, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw consent, or complain to an appropriate data protection authority. We will consider requests relating to data under our control in accordance with applicable law.
For information processed independently by Google or advertising partners, their privacy controls and data-rights processes may also apply. We cannot directly access or erase records that those providers hold independently.
9. Data retention and deletion
Local game data: Game saves, stars, lives, hints and settings remain on your device until cleared. On Android, you can delete this data through Settings → Apps → Arrow Out → Storage → Clear storage, or by uninstalling the App. Both actions generally remove on-device App data. Android app backup is disabled in the current release configuration.
Advertising information: Google and its partners control the retention periods and deletion procedures for information processed on their systems. Consult their privacy notices or available account and advertising controls.
10. Data security
Game progress is kept in Android’s app-private storage rather than an Inque Labs user-account database. This website is intended to be delivered over HTTPS. Third-party advertising services use their own security measures and data transfer protections. No internet transmission or device storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy when our game, SDKs or legal obligations change. Any update will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review it from time to time.
